1982年在华东工程学院(现南京理工大学)获得学士学位。于1982年在兵器工业部544厂参加工作任助理工程师。自1987年至1998年1月在哈尔滨工业大学电气工程系 学习和工作;获硕士学位(1992年)和博士学位(1996年);任讲师(1989年)和副教授(1995年)。1998年2月至1998年12月在芬兰赫尔辛基工业大学智能功率电子研究院工作,任职Visiting Research Scientist;1999年1月至2002年7月在英国格林威治大学工程学院工作,任职 Postdoctoral Research fellow(博士后)和 Senior Research Fellow。2002年5月聘为复旦大学教授,于2002年7月回国在复旦大学电子工程系工作。
